Set within the beautiful and idyllic grounds at Waterside Cornwall, our Fitness Suite really can provide you with everything essential to a membership and more.  All new members receive a Gym Induction. This entails discussing your expectations of the membership and introducing you to our full range of fitness equipment.

Waterside Cornwall boasts a large gym and fitness centre, designed to suit all abilities, age groups and fitness levels. It contains Life Fitness equipment, including bikes, treadmills, cross-trainers, a stepper and rowers. It features fixed weights and an extensive selection of free weights including dumbbells up to 60kg, an Olympic bench press and a squat rack. We also boast a unique outdoor Training Rig which includes prowlers and battle ropes. Members and non members are welcome to use our fitness centre open all year round weekdays from 6am to 10pm. and weekends from 8am till 8pm.

Our qualified fitness instructors are on hand to offer friendly support and guidance, ensuring you achieve your goals. We personally tailor workouts, whether for improving health, losing weight, increasing confidence or sports-specific.

*No under 16’s allowed in the gym area.



Classes (£3 members & £4 non members)

Exercising in a group is a great way to get motivated to keep fit with like-minded people. Our Instructors offer a range of classes which include high intensity, strength & conditioning, toning and flexibility.   

Spin- Spin is a high intensity exercise class using stationary bikes focusing on: endurance, strength, intervals & speed.

Body Conditioning -  Body conditioning class is designed to provide whole body workouts that focuses on: strength, aerobic & endurance of all major muscle groups.

 Core stability - Core stability is a class designed to focus solely on the core, and exercises to improve: strength, condition, co-ordination & balance.

Aqua Fit - Aqua fitness is an all-round workout with little to no impact on your joints, perfect for burning fat, increasing your core strength and toning up. This is an ideal workout for anyone with joint replacements or suffering with oedema.

Kettlebells - Kettlebells are a specialised piece of equipment designed to mix weight training and cardio together, primarily working your legs, bum and lower back muscles.

Exercise to music - Class designed to improve co-ordination and aerobic capacity in an energetic enthusiastic environment to the rhythm of music.

Flexibility - Class designed to help improve flexibility and overall range of movement.

Legs bums & tums - Class designed to target major muscle groups in the legs, gluts and abdominals.

Ab blast - Class designed to focus on the abdominals in an aerobic delivery style.

Personal Training


Personal training at Waterside is not just a concept but a way of life. One to one training focuses your mind and body, taking your fitness to a whole new level. Your Personal Trainer will motivate, educate and challenge you.

This type of training is goal orientated and focused on YOU.

We have head hunted the best trainers, with a passion for industry knowledge. They live, eat and breathe that lifestyle and know all the trade secrets.

Training program - £10.00
A bespoke fitness program, crafted by one of our Personal Trainers. Tailored to your health and fitness requirements, your program will be user friendly and provide consistency to your training.

 Training program Plus - £15.00
Really maximise your Training Program through receiving specific tips and advice from our Personal Trainers and Fitness Team.

The ‘Training Program Plus’ bridges the gap between Personal Training and the basic Program. This option will provide you with a step by step introduction to the recommended workout.

Personal training per session - £35

Elite package - £300 for 10 sessions and £160 for 5 sessions

Cancellation policy
To our personal trainers, time is important, so we must insist that all cancellations are notified in advance by calling your trainer or reception on 01208 831808

 Cancellation will incur charges as follows:

  • More than 24 hours notice – No charge incurred.

  • Less than 24 hours notice – a 50% charge will be incurred.

  • Less than 12 hours notice – a full charge will be incurred.

Nutritional Advice and Program

Whether you are a bodybuilder, a professional athlete or simply exercising to improve your health and wellbeing, nutrition advice plays a key role in optimising the beneficial effects. Making better decisions with your nutrition and hydration can result in improved performance, recovery and injury prevention. We offer a range of services to support your health and sporting goals. This can range from a daily food diary, to a comprehensive food and nutrition plans.

Nutritional 3 day basic analysis (£35)
Appropriate for clients that need a basic understanding of their nutritional requirements, and some support on making healthy food choices and understanding the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

Includes- 3 day food diary for client to fill in, Bex analyses: 

  • BMI, TEE, BMI calculated

  • Macros to be calculated

  • Analysis of food choices- broken down in sections

  • Brief example of appropriate food choices

  • Additional advise based on healthy eating if required

* Follow-up (total 3 meetings)

3 day advanced nutritional analysis including diet plan (£50)
Appropriate for clients that need advance nutrition- sport specific clients/ athletes, clients vulnerable for being undernourished (eating disorders/ phobias, food intolerance) 

Includes- 3 day food diary for clients to fill in, Bex analyses:

  • BMI, TEE, BMI calculated

  • Macros calculated

  • Analysis of food choices- broken down in sections

  • Advanced nutrition breakdown (including micros)- with feedback

  • Example 4 day diet plan including all macro requirements with high nutritional value (lifestyle factors accounted for)

  • Additional advise based on the nutritional requirements of the client

* Follow-up (total 3 meetings)

Outside, we have two tennis courts and scenic lakeside walking trails . We also offer personal training and fitness classes including Aquacise in the pool.

There is ample parking on site. We provide a range of membership packages to suit everyone.
